Person Data Error | 246

Did you find something that is incorrect on a person’s profile in Rock?  Did you find 2 records for the same person?  Let the Data Integrity team know by filling out a Person Data Error.

When should you fill out a person data error?

Anytime you find something that is incorrect, not complete, or missing from someone’s profile and are unsure how to fix it, let us know by filling out the person data error from that person’s profile.

We would also prefer you to fill out a person data error any time you are marking someone as deceased.  There are a number of pieces that we need to update or look at depending on a person’s family, giving, engagement, access to our systems, etc.  This all takes a few more steps each time we update a person’s record.

How to fill out a person data error

    • Go to a person’s profile and click the “Action” button under their profile picture.

    • Select Person Data Error from the list of actions.

    • Fill in the details section.

    • Click Submit
    • A task is then assigned to the Data Integrity Team
    • The team will work through the updates or changes that are needed.
    • Once complete, an email will be sent back to you letting you know that it has been completed.  Be sure to check out the resolution section for details.
