Did you know that you can manually add your own connections into Rock? Lets use the example of someone who wants to get baptized. Maybe you are talking to someone on the phone or meeting with them in person and the guest mentions to you that they want to get baptized. Lets walk through the couple steps it takes to add their connection into Rock.
- Navigate to your connections in Rock.
- Rock > People > Connections
- From there, select the category that makes the most sense for the opportunity you have with the guest.
- In this example we will select [ My Next Step is Baptism ]
- From here, select [ Add Request ]
- From here, enter all the information as needed.
- Requester = The guest
- Connector = Person assigned to the connection
- State = Active
- Comments = Notes about the connection
- Status = Requesting or In Progress
