Do you know how easy it can be to post content to Teamwork? INCLUDING the creation of Tasks! How cool is that!
Teamwork Projects allows team members to post tasks via email to different projects or task lists uniquely.
In its simplest for; Teamwork will give you an email address to send an email to. The subject line of the email will become the task name and the body of the email will become the memo of the task.
Teamwork does a great job of laying out its details here: https://support.teamwork.com/projects/efficiency/creating-tasks-via-email
A great use of this feature is… if you have an email that you think needs to be a ‘task’ in your teamwork project, you can forward the email to this unique email address and it will post a task to your teamwork so that you can delete the email in your inbox.
In order to find this unique email address, you can go to one of two places:
- Navigate to your project
- Click the 3 dots [menu] in the top right corner
- Click post tasks via email
- Copy the email address
- Navigate to a particular task list
- Click the carrot (down arrow)
- Click post tasks via email
- Copy the email address
Now that you have learned how to do this within Tasks!! Check out the same feature within the Messages or Notebooks tab of your Teamwork Project!!!
