Setting Up for a Smooth Check-In Experience

What to Check 90 Minutes Before Services Begin

A smooth and welcoming check-in sets the tone for the entire service. When our systems are ready and running well, we can focus on what matters most—helping people feel seen, known, and cared for.

To set everyone up for success, please complete the following checks 90 minutes before services begin. These simple steps can prevent most check-in issues before they happen.

1. Confirm iPads and Printers Have Power

  • Make sure all iPads are powered on and sufficiently charged.
  • Verify printers are plugged in and turned on.

2. Check Printer Paper Levels

  • Open each printer and confirm there is a roll of paper installed.
  • Ensure the roll is at least ¼ full so labels don’t run out mid-check-in.

3. Verify Network Connectivity

  • Confirm each printer is connected to the network.

4. Confirm iPad Configuration

  • Check that each iPad is set to the correct configuration for check-in.
  • Make sure the correct app and settings are active before guests arrive.
