Everyone has the ability to subscribe and unsubscribe from emails. This setting will overwrite any email lists that they have subscribed to. If someone is not receiving our emails, check their preference to be sure they are able to receive an email from us.
If email is active and there are no restrictions, you will see no symbol after the email address.

If there are restrictions, a symbol will follow the email address. Hover over the symbol to see what it means.
They will not receive a message that is sent as a bulk communication. One on one emails are good, but no mass email.
Do NOT email. not emails will be sent even if you include them in your communication.
There email is inactive OR they have marked us as SPAM.
You should not be updating this information for anyone without their permission. If someone asks you to update their permissions, follow these steps to edit their email preferences.
- Confirm that you have the correct email address.
- Click EDIT on their profile.
- Edit the email address, if needed.
- Select the updated preference.

If they had marked us as SPAM you must contact us before emails will be resent to them. Follow these steps to get this person’s preference updated.
- Confirm that you have the correct email address.
- Fill out a Person Data Error asking that the SPAM complaint be removed and that we have confirmation that they are good to receive emails from us again.
- You will receive a message back when it has been completed.
- Allow one to two days for all emails to start to send to these recipients as there may already be some ready to send that they may have been removed from.
