Don’t Forget About This App Feature: Upcoming Events
Our CedarCreek App is packed with tools designed to help attendees stay connected beyond the weekend—and one feature that often gets overlooked is Upcoming Events.
While this isn’t a new feature, it is one that many attendees (and even staff) may not fully realize exists or remember to use. The Upcoming Events section lives in the Explore tab of the CedarCreek App and serves as a one-stop place for people to discover what’s coming up across our church.
What Is “Upcoming Events”?
The Upcoming Events feature highlights key opportunities happening at CedarCreek—making it easy for attendees to explore, learn more, and plan ahead directly from their phone.
Events attendees can find here include (but aren’t limited to):

Student Camps

Kids Camp

Student Theme Nights

Seasonal events
Instead of searching through emails or social media, attendees can simply open the app and see what’s happening next.
How Staff Can Help
One of the easiest ways we can support engagement is by pointing people to the app—specifically the Explore tab.
A simple reminder like:
“You can always find upcoming events in the CedarCreek App under the Explore tab”
can go a long way in helping people stay connected.
As we interact with attendees, lead teams, or answer questions about what’s coming up, let’s remember to leverage this built-in tool that already exists to serve them well.
