How to Quickly Find a Prayer Request in Rock (and See Who Submitted It)

Rock makes it simple to locate prayer requests and view details about who submitted them. This quick guide will help you find what you need in just a few clicks.

Where to Go to Find Prayer Requests

All prayer request administration happens in:

People > Prayer

From there, select Prayer Requests to open the full list of requests in the system.

How to Quickly Find a Specific Request

Once you are on the Prayer Requests list page:

  1. Use the Filter Options at the top to narrow down the list.

  2. You can filter by things like:

    • Approval status

    • Flagged requests

    • Other criteria to help you locate the exact request you need.

Filters are especially helpful when there are many requests and you only need to focus on certain ones.

How to View the Details of a Prayer Request

To see more information:

  1. Click on the prayer request in the list.

  2. This opens the Prayer Request Detail screen.

Here you can view:

  • The full request text

  • Approval status

  • Category and urgency

  • Expiration date

  • Comments and other details

You can also edit or update the request from this screen if needed.

How to See Who Submitted the Request

Inside the request details (and during prayer sessions), you will see the Requestor information, including:

  • The name of the person who submitted the request

  • Their photo (if available)

Keep in mind that the requestor may not always be the person the prayer is about, since people often submit requests on behalf of others.
