Outreach Response

URGENT: SNAP Benefits May Stop Nov 1 –

If someone needs food, let them know that we, as a church, are currently mobilizing by encouraging everyone to donate to their local food pantries. Our hope is that, through our donations, pantries and food banks will be better able to meet the needs of our community.

To find a list of pantries in your area follow the steps below.

  1. Find Food Online (No App Needed)
    • Central Ohio: freshtrak.com → Enter zip
    • All Ohio: ohiofoodbanks.org → Click your region
    • City search: foodpantries.org/st/ohio
  2. DIAL 211 (FREE, 24/7) – wait times may be longer due to a high volume of calls.
    • Say: “I need food help in [your city/zip]”
    • They’ll instantly send you the local pantries open today (text/email).
  3. Need Extra Help?
    • Seniors (60+): Ask 211 for Meals on Wheels
    • Kids: Ask school or 211 for backpack programs
    • Same-day aid: Call St. Vincent de Paul or Salvation Army (211 connects you)

We’re in this together. God provides.

  • For a family that attends CedarCreek Church, you can take their name, phone number, and the campus they attend. Send that information to their campus’s DreamTeam Director to follow up with them.
  • If they do not attend the church, but they ask to speak with a staff member, you can send their information to your campus Groups and Outreach Director.
