PB / CS Office Printers

YOU MUST BE on the Private Secured WiFi or wired into the network on an Ethernet cable for your printers to work.
The Public WiFi network does not have access to print.

PC Users (click to expand)
If you are on our domain (logged in with your creek credentials and have the company folder on your machine

  • Click the Windows/Start button at the bottom left and type \\Trinity-v2 and press enter to open that server.
  • Double click the “Office” copier listed there. This will prompt for credentials and install the driver to your machine and open a new status window you can close.
  • Double click the “North Office” copier listed to install that one as well.

If you are not on our domain (on a personal laptop PC):

  • Hold down the “windows” key (between the ctrl and alt keys on the bottom left) and press the “pause / break” key to open System info. If that doesn’t work, right click on “Computer” in the start menu (on the right side) and select Properties. If you don’t have a “Computer” option on the right, right click the start menu button and choose “System” to see info.
  • See if it says 32bit or 64bit Operating System.
    • If 64bit: download the drivers here
    • If 32bit: download the drivers here
  • Unzip the file to a folder on your machine (I suggest you point it to your desktop or somewhere you will be able to find as it will make a folder there).
  • Click the Start button and type “control panel” and go into the control panel. Click “View Devices and Printers” to see what you have. If you have old PB printers, you may want to click them and pick “remove” to clear them out.
  • Click on “Add Printer” at the top and choose “add a local printer”.
  • Click “create a new port” and select “standard TCP/IP port” and click next
  • Hostname or IP should be 10.0.1.50 for the CS Office Copier and Port name doesn’t matter. Uncheck “query the printer…” and hit next
  • Click “have disk” button and browse to where you unzipped the file you downloaded and select the file it shows.
  • Pick the “Canon ir-ADV 357iF” from the list of options it gives and click next.
  • Name it “CS Office Copier” and uncheck the option to share the printer.
  • It will install the driver and give you the option to print a test page. You can test it there. After it is working, you can delete the folder you unzipped earlier.
  • The same process can be repeated for the North Office Copier with the following info:
  • IP should be 10.0.1.51 (pick “Canon iPR C700/800 UFR II” and name it “CS North Office Copier”)
Mac Users (click to expand)
  • Canon – Download the drivers here
  • Open the zip file, and run the DMG installer it has in it. Go through the setup file it has and install all with default options.
  • Open System Preferences from the Apple menu at the top left and click on Printers
  • Highlight any old entries for the PB or CS Printers and click the minus sign on the bottom left of the printer list to remove them.
  • Click the plus sign at the bottom left of the printer list and click on “IP” up top.
  • The info for the CS Office Copier is:
    • Address: 10.0.1.50
    • Protocol: Line Printer Daemon – LPD
    • Name: CS Office Copier (whatever you want here as this is for your info only)
    • Use: drop this box down and choose the “Select printer software” option and search for 357if in the filter box. Pick the driver from the options it gives
    • After you click ok, it asks you for advanced options… just click ok
  • The info for the North Office Copier is:
    • Address 10.0.1.51
    • Protocol: Line Printer Daemon – LPD
    • Name: CS North Office Copier (whatever you want here as well)
    • Use: drop this box down and choose the “Select printer software” option and search for c700/800 in the filter box. Pick the driver from the options it gives
    • After you click ok, it asks you for advanced options… just click ok
