How to access the Company Drive

How to access your personal folder or the Company folder from a Mac:

To get to your “FirstL” personal storage folder:

1) Click “Go – Connect to Server”

2) Enter in the address:  smb://cedarcreek.local/creek/home/FirstL (where FirstL is your name, i.e. JohnD)

3) Click the + sign to add it to the favorite list

4) Click Connect (and connect again on the next window)

5) Choose “Registered User” and change the name to FirstL (but use your info) and enter your password. If you’d like to save it for this connection, click “remember this password in my keychain” but know that anyone on your laptop will have access to this folder without a password at that point.

6) Click Connect and the share should mount on your desktop

7) To disconnect, right click on the share on  your desktop and eject it.

To get to the Company folder:

Same as above, but replace the address in step 2 with:  smb://cedarcreek.local/creek/company

After you’ve done step 3 above, you can just click the name in the list instead of typing it in and it autofills the address for you.
