Email Signature

Using a professional and uniform email signature is important to convey a consistent and branded view of the organization and maintain professionalism in all communications.

When creating your new email signaturesignature, you can assign the types of emails the signature is used on. Please use this new email with the design as listed for ‘NEW’ emails.

Please create a simple email signature fore ‘REPLIES’. Here is an example of a simple email signature:

Jason Jones (First Name Last Name)

Executive Project Manager (Job Title)

CedarCreek Church (Church Name)

Instructions on setting up your new email signature.

From the email you were sent; copy the email signature and paste it in your platform.

  • Any text you update will likely change to the font type: “Calibri”. You will have to manually change it back to Montserrat Light or Semi Bold as listed above.
  • Editing your email address will give it the blue hyperlink. Please manually change the font color back to black.
  • If job title wraps to a second line when creating the signature, it may update to one line after hitting save. If your job title does not revert to one line, please ask for assistance.

Here is a quick video from Nate walking you through how to create your email signature. https://youtu.be/Vivl54kq45I

After you have set up your email, it would be wonderful if you sent a test email to a member of the communications team so that we can give it a once over and review it.

From our Marketing Consultant: Lastly, people (mostly church people) love to add bible verses and script fonts for name signatures. DON’T DO IT! 😉  While using Bible verses in email signatures may seem appropriate in a church setting, there are still situations where it may not be advisable.

Bible verses can be open to interpretation and may hold different meanings for different people. When used in email signatures, they may be taken out of context, potentially leading to misunderstandings or miscommunication. It’s important to maintain clarity and professionalism in church communications.

Adding a Bible verse to an email signature can blur the line between personal and professional life and may not be seen as appropriate or relevant to business matters.
