What to do after a power outage and power has been restored.

Please take the following list of items as, “someone locally needs to confirm these devices are all at least able to be turned on/working as best as we can tell.”  Since brown-outs and power outages have been extremely common this is growing into a larger issue.  IT and Facilities can’t always make it to sites to go through this list with each outage in a timely manner, so the onus here will fall to that campus’s staff to confirm what they can and report issues to us for repairs.

Issues will be addressed in order of impact upon weekend service:
A) General safety for occupancy (lights, HVAC, alarms, locks, sump pumps, elevators…)
B) Auditorium/Stream AV function (sound, lights, video…)
C) Kids area Programming (computers, projectors / TVs, DVD players, check-in…)
D) Front Door (digital signage, exterior lighting, coffee, TVs…)
E) Creature Comforts (Wi-Fi, drinking fountains, giving kiosk iPads, copy machines…)

If you are experiencing a “Brown Out, where the building has partial power, turn the breakers to the HVAC units off until the power is back on.  Your Habitec system will go into a local alarm, so you will need to silence it at the panel.
